THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

HOUSE RULES

Please read and ensure that you abide by all our terms before and during your stay. Kindly treat our luxury home with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by all our guests.

We do not allow parties and events of any sort in the property.

2

No smoking inside a 10 metres around the property.

No drug use permitted on premises.

No pets and animals over 5 Kgs allowed on site. Pets are not allowed on the sofas, cushions and beds.

Guests including children visiting and staying more than maximum capacity of the home are strictly not allowed by law.

No products or inventory is to be removed from the property.

It is important to note that guests have to moderate alcohol consumption and drunken behaviour is against house policy due to the risk of nuisance.

Please consume food and drinks only in the designated areas like kitchen and tables, whilst avoiding consumption in lounges, sofas and bedrooms to avoid stains and damages. Permanent stains will be charged for repair costs.

You must not make sounds or play loud music or set off fireworks after 10pm according to Portugal's laws.

The Retreat is completely automated and operates by an APP available on iPhone and Android platforms. It is a requirement for the guest to have a compatible smart phone without which they will not be able to access the Retreats especially for door access.

No modification, tampering or alteration of the house systems, devices, circuit boards, piping and technology is allowed.

Please do not remove, step on or destroy the plants in gardens. You can pick fruits, herbs and vegetables that are ripe and ready.

Home Security & Protocols
Please do not leave the house glass doors unlocked when you leave the property or at night before sleeping.
Please turn off all the house lights before leaving or sleeping by using the SLEEP FLOOR or GOODBYE buttons.
Please turn off the music before leaving or sleeping.

Please keep the home tidy and organised at all times, place towels and sheets that need cleaning in the laundry baskets, and used cutlery, plates, glasses and equipment in the dishwasher.

Any damage or removal of products will be charged to your card provided as a security deposit.

Inspection of Property – The Retreat reserves the right to inspect any part of the property with valid reasons after guests checked in.

Any breach of rules on site will result in cancellation of booking and revocation of guest access. All reservations are assumed to have accepted our terms and conditions found on the footer of our website before arrival.
